The Active Cooler provides an alternative cooling solution for users who want to use their Raspberry Pi 5 under sustained heavy load without an enclosure. It combines a large metal heatsink with a variable-speed fan, which is powered and controlled via the fan connector. It attaches to the Raspberry Pi 5 board via spring pins in a pair of mounting holes.
With this cooler, the temperature did not exceed during 10 minutes of stress testing ( Pi 5). After the stress test, the temperature quickly dropped back to . The fan reaches approximately and remains whisper-quiet.
